ww2dbaseRG-42 fragmentation grenades replaced the RGD-33 grenades after the Russo-German war began in 1941, largely due to the predecessors' complex design which led to RGD-33 design's slow production. Each grenade contained 100 to 120 grams of TNT, and had a blast radius of about 10 meters. Each fuse was set to between 3.2 and 4.2 seconds of delay. They remained in use after WW2 with Soviet and Warsaw Pact countries.

both pictures do not correwspond with the RG-42.
1st picture shows a RG-33 in the soldiers belt
2nd picture show an incendiary cristal grenade.
