21 Jul 1943 Canadian trawler HMCS Anticosti completed her refit at Louisbourg, Nova Scotia, Canada.
17 Jun 1945 Trawler Anticosti was decommissioned from Canadian service and was returned to the British Royal Navy.

my father captain J J Coleman was master of ss anticosti in WW2 and received a commendation on 29 July 1941. I cannot find any information about this boat and it is clearly not the Canadian navy Anticosti launched in 1942. Any help wuld be appreciated. Moir Webb
