AMERICAN CEMETERY, FRANCE:
Do you know that 9,400 American soldiers are buried at the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial located Collevlle, France. Did you know that there are Twenty-four such cemeteries in Europe.
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died
Rather we should thank God that such men lived"
- General George S. Patton -
ROLL CALL: THE GREATEST GENERATION
16,000,000 Million served in World War II as the decades passed, fewer than 900,000 are alive as of 4/7/15 they are passing at a rate of 500 a day
Millions of others worked in the defense plants or did their part for the war effort in American
Industry production was 24/7, 365 days a year to final victory.
Those that lived during World War II and those that served and survived the war lived to see victory over Germany, Japan and Italy. Those that gave their lives were the cost of final victory.
COST OF WAR:
W.W.II cost the United States $341,000,000,000 not counting the 50,000,000,000 in lend-lease and
the post-war Marshall Plan another 13,000,000,000
The last WWII survivor benefit payments will be paid in 2050.

In 1966 President of France Charles de Gaulle
said he wanted all Americans out of France.
The American Ambassador said, does that include American Soldiers who are buried here on French soil in cemeteries. de Gaulle
said nothing and left the meeting.
