Im the daughter of John Macdonald Rice, shot and wounded on Tarakan and rescued by his mates, particularly a man by the name of Tommy Porter. I would love to contact him. Can anyone help me? Does anyone remember my father? He was a Corporal with the 223rd battalion. After he was badly wounded on Tarakan, he was transferred back to Darwin. Many Thanks.
