I have a number of 5x7 Black and White Photos of the subject Golet submarine, that my Father received upon the boat being launched. The Photos show the crew on board. My dad was Kenneth Alton Davidson and was a member of the Commissioning Crew. He was a Cook (Commissary) and was transferred off the Golet upon it arriving in Pearl Harbor, prior to it's first War Patrol. So the one (1) photo reflected now would have been when he was aboard. Only he an 2-others were transferred off. So most of his commissioning crew buddies all went down with the boat.
