I am recording and printing individual histories of WW II vets in my area, so I can donate them to museums and libraries for future historians. I have a question about "navy gear" that was towed by ships in a convoy. It apparantly was successful in causing a predetonation of a german torpedo. The source of this is a merchant marine quartermaster who made seven convoys to England. Any information from you would be appreciated, because I would like to include it in their stories.
