SHANGHAI NIGHTS:
Pre-war Japanese Armored Car I6AI assigned to
Japanese Naval Landing Forces, also operated by the Imperial Japanese Army in China. Twelve vehicles were imported from England and later used in the Shanghai Incident file photo shows Imperial Japanese Navy vehicle.
MADE IN JAPAN:
The Dowa Automobile Company later built the vehicle based on the British Crossley design in Japanese service, the vehicle was the M-25 it was also used in Manchuria.
FIREPOWER:
The M-25 was armed with 2 x 7.7mm machine guns mounted, in a rotating turret, crewed by (4)
men, powered by 1 x 50hp gas engine with a top speed of 60km/h. weight 7.5 tons
SHOCKING: ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING
Crowd Control: The vehicle could be electrified, to keep large crowds away. How many volts were generated isn't known, but I'm sure it gave some people a real jolt.
Did you know that you can buy a 1/35 scale model of the M-25 in Japanese service the kit isn't cheap $$$$ and is produced by Pit Road Model Kits...
