ww2dbaseThe Blyskawica ("Lightning") submachine guns were designed in 1942 by Waclaw Zawrotny, who stressed that the design must be very simple so that they could be built with simple tools in underground workshops. The first prototype was built between Apr and Sep 1943, and in Nov several underground workshops began to produce these weapons. Between Nov 1943 and Oct 1944, about 640 of them were built.Source: Wikipedia. ww2dbase
