The list of ships sank by the USS Drum (ss228) is WAY off! She is officially credited with sinking 15 and unofficially 27 (according to the crew) The ships sank in the list posted here is only from her FIRST PATROL!

It appeared on the tour there were torpedo's aft as well as forward. Did I see that wrong? or was it capable of firing in both directions?

Not really a comment - just a question. Looking at Drum 1945 pic shows a 5 ? (Could be a 3) mounted on the aft main deck other pics show a twin 20mm on the cigarette deck aft and a 40mm below the bridge fwd all 3 classified as cannon. I presume the .50 cal mg are in presure drums and mounted as needed. Where (and What) is the 2x0.3 cal mg weapon. or am I wrong in my looks at the pics & stats ??? Thanks
