ww2dbaseFleet escort ship F4 was commissioned into service in 1936. In Apr 1939, she was decommissioned for the intended purpose of conversion into a torpedo recovery vessel. In Aug 1940, the conversion work ceased. She was then transferred to an experimental unit. In 1944, she was transferred to the North Sea to serve as an escort vessel. After the war, she was taken over by the United Kingdom. She was broken down for scrap in Jan 1949.
