Battleship New Jersey underway for Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, United States, 9 Sep 1968	2015 computer enhanced sonar image of the sunken USS Independence in 2,600 feet of water off Half Moon Bay, California. Note that the colors are to better show the features and are not the true colors of the wreck.	Bow section of the USS Johnston discovered in 21,180 feet of water off Samar in late Mar 2021 and is believed to be the world’s deepest known shipwreck. The wreck was originally discovered in 2019 by the late Paul Allen’s team.
