ww2dbaseMikhail Ivanovich Rodionov was born in Makarievsky, Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russia. He played a leadership role in the politics of the Russian Soviet Republic during the war, and rose to become the head of the republic in 1946. In 1949, he was implicated in the Leningrad Affair, and was found guity and sentenced to death. He was executed in Oct 1950.
