The photo series of H.G. von Studnitz present only Italian artillery units of the CTV (Corpo di Truppe Volontarie), not Spanish Nationalist units (which never used Italian helmets model Ariane like the ones worn by the artillerymen in the picture). The difference could appear stupid, but it must be pointed out that the Italians were the most hated and dismissed allies of the Spanish Nationalists...
