Since 1946, this image has appeared in several books, publications, and websites but flipped right-to-left from what is seen here. The Japanese battleship Nagato with its pagoda superstructure is clearly recognizable silhouetted against the water column. Her position within the lagoon relative to the bomb location and Bikini Island (where the camera was) make the alignment seen here unquestionably the correct one.
