Today, just South Dakota class USS Massachusetts, remains as floating museum.

Picture probably taken from South Dakota, which was flag ship of TU 34.8.1 under Rear Admiral Shafroth and made up of the 3 BBs, the 2 CAs, and 8 DDs. The TU formed about 0600 on the 14th and bombarded Kamishi just after noon. South Dakota fired 230 rounds of 16 inch Indiana 271 rounds, and Massachusetts 300 rounds, completing the firing by 1420.
