Italy's King Vittorio Emmanuele III far left and high ranking air force and army officers visit CSA Guidonia in March 1943. The monarch's party walks past Re.2005's. At the time of the Armistice, the 362 Squadriglia had only two Re.2005 aircraft left-neather of them opernational. Squadron personnel destroyed the aircraft, to prevent them from falling into German hands.
