On the 1st November 1964, i had the luck to serve for 15 months almost around the globe, on one of these great ships, that survived the terrible days of WW2, where she participated SUCCESSFULLY carrying ammunitions and goods from USA to England. Still that time you could see evidence and the traces of supports for the deffending weaponries she had.Her name under Italian flag was "ENRICO COSTA", the passed to Greek hand and Renamed 'NICOLAS A',under Liberian flag.(sorry but i have not in my memories her original name). I feel so glad discovering this web site. All my cardiac wishes and thanks to all of you who keep HISTORY ALIVE.
