GERMAN URANIUM BOMB:
The German Bomb was it a myth or just another WWII conspiracy theory. Will we ever really know. Did you know that after WWII hundreds of thousands of documents captured some of which are still restricted by the US and its wartime Allies from the general public are not to be opened until the year 2045.
One Heinkel He 177 was modified at the Letov facility at Prague, Czechoslovakia at wars end May 8, 1945.
He 177A-5 V38 W. Nr. (550002) had its bomb bay enlarged, was this modification intended to carry the German Uranium or Plutonium bomb? if so, why was such a modification done at Prague and not at the Heinkel facility in Germany? After the war, He 177 V38 was most likely scrapped.
FILE PHOTO:
Heinkel He 177A-02 (DL+AG)
was a pre-production machine. Many of the pre-production series bombers were lost due to in flight fire
and accidents.
The He 177 wasn't cared for by those that flew it, okay let's rephrase that, the plane was despised by many of its crews.
