I am preparing a website investigating war art in the Pacific War. There is a section about the various depictions of the wreckage Kinugawa Maru. There is a black and white version of this image and presumably it was hand coloured. It would appear that the colour version was made for a post card. Can you confirm this and/or provide any more information about the colour image?

Famous WW2 Quote
"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival."Winston Churchill
