Based on the paint schema of the ship behind the Nashville I would say this is the Bush. Mullany did not have this paint schema in WWII.

In comparing the paint schemes, I concur that Mullany is unlikely. Of the six Fletcher-class destroyers sharing the paint scheme seen, all of them were in or near Leyte Gulf on this date but only Bush reports being anchored near Nashville. The caption has been amended and thank you for bringing this up.
