The route stretches approximately 1,000 miles through Myitkyina, Burma, to Kunming, China. The 113 vehicles included jeeps, weapons carriers, ambulances, and larger trucks, some of them pulling artillery or trailers. The road construction was commanded by Brig. General Lewis A. Pick. Note rail line to left of the road.
