my grandfathers served in both WWl and WWll...they both respected the courage, and tenacity of their enemies-I for one who`s never served respected them all but, the Japanese never subscribed to the Geneva Convention and openly tortured and treated their ememies with disdain and considered them by and large sub human...my feelings between respect and poetic justice are mixed....
My apologies to those I may have offended...but, I`m an amateur student of history and scenes like the above-thats how I feel...
