AGAINST THE ODDS:
Yamato in Sibuyan Sea photo taken 24/25 October 1944 by attacking US Naval aircraft.
The Yamato survived attacks, but her sister ship the Musashi was sunk. If you look close, you can see that a bomb just hit near number one forward gun turret.
