wow my late father in law would have been on that ship when this was taken, HMS Howe was enroute to join the pacific fleet, was attacked a few times by Kamikaze planes, she was in Tokyo bay for the signing of the Japanese surrender, Kenneth william Brown was one of the first radar operators in the royal navy, after the war he became chief radar operator for Southampton docks in the uk... were proud to have his war medals :-)
