SPOILS OF WAR: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
After WWII the Japanese left behind over 1,000
different types of aircraft throughout Asia. Aircraft that were left in Japanese occupied countries, were salvaged and put them back into service.
Surviving aircraft continued to serve into the 1950's mechanics are servicing the "Ida's" Hitachi
9-cylinder Ha-13a air-cooled radial engine of 500 hp. Markings shown were used by Nationalist Chinese aircraft from 1936 to 1949
