Early production I-152 flying over Mother Russia this I-153 has had its main wheel pants removed. Camouflage was olive green w/light blue, the Red star usually had a black circle within the star and a thin black outline.

The raised upper wing of the aircraft in this picture indicates that it is a Polikarpov I-152 (also known as the I-15bis).
