thats such a dam shame that japan did this. i heard they deny every bit of it.. does anybody know what the cause of this was?

Sorry for the late reply. Yes Japan tried to deny this I know personally survivors who eyewitnesses it. Japanese army round up these Chinese people then machine gun down everyone. Reason? In 1937 when Japan invaded China in July, they expected little resistance. Instead. Japanese troops suffered significant casualty meeting Chinese resistance in the next three months. So they used brutal force killing Chinese as a revenge and warning to Chinese.
