Ki-44 belongs to the 70th Sentai, 3rd Chutai
I don't see any wing armament the fighter is
aluminum with black anti-glare forward of the cockpit and Red Hinomaru with white Home Defence Bands on fuselage and wings.

Ki-44 cold belong to a training unit most operational units didn't have numbers on the fuselage sides.
