My late neighbor, Keith Dillon also guarded Yamashita. He had Yamashita's pocket knife and some other personal items the General gave him. His photo was in the local paper back then but I cannot locate it.

My Father was one of the MPs who guarded Yamashita and witnessed hi execution. I am trying to find a website which lists witnesses to his execution. My family also has Occupational Japan money with Yamashita's signature and I'm trying to find an evaluation of those bills.
