The Model Hurricane Mk IID and IV carried
two Vickers 40mm Type S Cannons w/ 15 rpg
Each cannon would weight 295lb/135kg mounted
in underwing pods, each cannon round was
2.5lb/1.3kg in weight.
Plus two additional 303 machine guns in the wings. The fighter also had added armor for
the pilot, engine and radiator.
