Messerschmitt Bf 109 of JG54 Leningrad/North Russia, August 1941 looks like the fighter is being bore sighted. Propeller-driven aircraft needed weapons to be collaborated due to engine vibrations.
Bore-sighting: armorer looks down the barrel of each weapon to a target, using a special tool and makes adjustments so all rounds hit the target, at the same time, in a concentrated cone of fire.
