Fabulous site--thanks for all the hard work organizing these photos. Lots of interesting ones, like the Polish resistance group with Thompson SMG and other weapons. Only regret is that files aren't bigger. But a small matter in the face of a great site.

I SAY,IT LOOKS LIKE THE JERRIES ARE HAVING LUNCH,IT WOULDN'T BE SPORTING TO MESS IT UP NOW WOULD IT?
OUR TROOP OF TOMMIES ARE ARMED WITH THE
LEE-ENFIELD,.303 NO.4 RIFLES, THOMPSON .45 CALIBER SUBMACHINE GUN AND THE BREN LIGHT MACHINE GUN .303 CALIBER.
THE BREN WAS PHASED OUT OF SERVICE IN 1966
POST-WAR WEAPONS WERE RE-DESIGNED TO ACCEPT THE NATO 7.62MM ROUND.
