The battleship at the pier in the middle foreground is the USS New Mexico. The three battleships moored at Ford Island are the USS Tennessee (outboard and closest to the camera), USS Colorado, and USS Pennsylvania. The wreck of the USS Oklahoma, now righted and being prepared for movement into drydock, can be seen at her berth astern of the three nested battleships. The two Essex-class carriers beyond Ford Island are the USS Essex (left) and the USS Yorktown.
