ww2dbaseThe Japanese Army base at Daegu (alternate Romanization: Taegu), Korea was established in 1921, and it was later expanded to include an airfield. After WW2, in 1950 the US military established K-37 utilizing the same site, and in the following year it was renamed Camp Walker after General Walton Walker. Today the airfield remains in use as a US Army helicopter facility.
