- The Polish Supreme National Tribunal issued judgement on the 40 former Auschwitz Concentration Camp staff members tried during the First Auschwitz Trial which concluded 6 days prior. 23 were found guilty and were given death sentences, 16 were found guilty and were given prison terms, and 1 was acquitted. ww2dbase [Nuremberg Trials and Other Trials Against Germany | Kraków | CPC]
