ww2dbaseThe Japanese Navy F1M Type Zero Observation Seaplanes first took flight in Jun 1936. They were built to be launched from naval catapults. Introduced in 1941, they would prove to be the Japanese Navy's final biplane design. Four F1M1 prototype aircraft were built, followed by 1,114 F1M2 and F1M2-K production models; production ceased in 1944.
